- I think everybody should have their very own little button for when they are sad
- And when they press it
- A balloon should come down from the sky
- With a basket of kittens and fluffy fanfiction of their OTP
- And then they won’t be sad anymore

Surviving the World comic by Dante Shepherd. Text reads: “If it is harder and scarier for you to explain to your children why some people love each other than for you to explain to your children why some people should be treated less than equal, you’re doing it wrong.” Beside the picture, Dante stands with his three-week old baby in his arms, pretending to be lecturing it.

I just want to make everyone feel special, because they are. And make everyone happy, because they deserve it.
How do I keep messing up like this? : /
Ted Lawson ”Mortality is a Myth” (Cast Resin, Silicone and MDF – 2012)
NYC based sculptor Ted Lawson creates figurative works based on the female form in a variety of materials. With titles such as ‘Entropy’ to describe a pair of stunningly sensual busts carved from wood, the artist also culls inspiration from science and abstract shapes. He is currently showing at NYC’s Emmanuel Fremin Gallery through May 19th. View more images of the work below.

I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
God topples from the sky, hell’s fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan’s men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
I fancied you’d return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
